Arachnid message

The arachnid class message briefly outlined in this article will tell you useful information about these living organisms.

Arachnid message

The arachnid class is an invertebrate predatory animal that is of the arthropod type. They are represented by both poisonous and non-hazardous animals. The structure resembles crustaceans, but nevertheless differs from them in a number of signs, which subsequently formed the transition to a terrestrial way of life.

Arachnid class: general characteristic

Mostly arachnids are terrestrial. They breathe through the lungs and trachea. They have no antennae. There are 4 pairs of walking legs near-mouth permanent appendages - tentacles and upper tentacles. Four pairs of eyes along with the oral organs and limbs are located on the cephalothorax. The food of arachnids is diverse: from insects and blood, to juices and green parts of plants. The most famous representatives are ticks and spiders.

The arachnid class includes three orders:

  • Squad of spiders

A typical representative of the squad is a spider-cross. He lives in parks, forests, estates, houses. Each of us saw his spider web network. In spiders, the upper jaw (the first pair of oral organs) is equipped with sharp claws, at the end of which there are open ducts of poisonous glands. Spider jaws kills prey and defends itself from enemies. With his tentacles (the second pair of oral organs), he feels the victim and turns it while eating.

Walking legs are covered with very sensitive hairs. The abdomen is larger than the cephalothorax. On its back are arachnoid warts with arachnoid glands. Respiratory organs - pulmonary sacs and 2 bundles of respiratory tubes (trachea).

Spiders have many diverse sensory organs: the organs of taste and smell on the walking legs, tentacles and lateral parts of the pharynx, as well as 4 pairs of simple eyes. Some species are able to distinguish color.

Spiders are dioecious animals. After fertilization, the females weave a cocoon from the web, and lay their eggs there.

  • Squad ticks

They live in animals, plants, soil, and man. Representatives of the tick group do not have a clear division of the body into departments. They develop indirectly: a larva with 3 pairs of legs hatch from an egg. After the first molt, another pair appears. After a while, it turns into an adult. The brightest representatives:

- Red spider mite. It settles on valuable plants (for example, cotton) and destroys them.

- Flour mite. Settles in grain and onion. It eats up the germ in the grain and causes spoilage of products in warehouses (cereals, sunflower seeds, bread products).

- Scabies mite. It penetrates into the delicate areas of human skin, gnawing passages in it, and causes scabies.

- Taiga ticks. Parasitize on animals and humans. They are carriers of encephalitis.

  • Scorpion squad

They live in countries with a hot and warm climate, settling in moist forests, on sea coasts, rocky areas, and in sandy deserts. Relate to live-bearing species of animals. Some lay eggs with an already developed embryo inside. A distinctive feature is a sharp tip on the tail. Often with poison. They scorpion attacks its prey and defends itself from enemies.
