1692-1693 - admission to the Latin school in Eisenach

1694 - mother's death

1695 - the death of his father, moving to Ordruf to his older brother

1703–1707 - organist position in the Arnstadt church

1707 - marrying Maria Barbara, working as an organist in the church of Mühlhausen
